I delivered this presentation at WordCampUK Edinburgh on 14 July 2012. In it, I update the WordPress community on what has changed with the EU Cookie Law since it went into force on 25 May of this year, how WordPress.org and WordPress.com have responded, and what new problems have arisen as a result of many cookie compliance “solutions”. I also touch on what’s ahead for the cookie law and draw some conclusions about its future.
