when Flash goes bad 9 April 2008

It’s always a bad idea to build a site completely in Flash.  Aside from the SEO, usability, and browser compatibility issues…sometimes it just doesnae work.  Here’s an interesting error where the whole site is shrunk in Firefox.

I was looking at that web site to confirm the bizarre news that Man’s three favourite bands are all playing in Glasgow within one week of each other in December - two of them on two successive days.  Man turns down the offer of tickets, saying “no, no, it’s all too much at Christmas,” which is Man’s way of saying “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh yes yes!”
